Mark your calendars! LFD is once again having the annual blood drive and open house! There are plenty in need so please donate! There will be food served after and a chance to win a prize basket! If you stay around long enough at 5 PM there will be a car extrication demo and at 7 PM there will be a vehicle fire demo!

On this date, Kelmann Restoration came to LFD to clean ALL apparatus and SCBA masks. Volunteers took time to deep clean the cabs and masks. This will help promote a clean and healthier lifestyle for our members. Below is a gallery of their visit to LFD. All the dirty water seen in the pictures came from the seats, and masks have carcinogens which can cause cancer in our members. In this time for the holidays we at LFD are thankful for the service Kelmann Restoration provided us.

Thanks to the Lisbon Firefighters Incorporated (LFF Inc.), 3 NEW MDC’s (Mobile Data Computers) were purchased! Not only was enough money raised for 3 MDC’s but there was enough raised for GPS pucks which allow GPS tracking for apparatus when they go out on a call! All of this helps share important information and find safe and fast ways to reach people in need with accurate directions in an even faster way! The total spent on this project was just under $10,000. Thank you, Lisbon Firefighter’s Inc! But most importantly thank you to EVERYONE that has donated to make this possible!
