About
The Lisbon Fire Department is a combination department located in Northern Waukesha County. We are comprised of 6 full-time staff, including the Fire Chief. The full-time staff work 3 24 hour shifts a week. Our full-time staff is supplemented by 42 paid-on-call firefighters, paramedics, and EMT’s spread among 6 duty crews. Duty crews respond from 6:00 pm- 6:00 am Monday through Friday and for 24 hours on Saturdays and Sundays. The Lisbon Fire Department has a response area covering approximately 30 square miles, serving approximately 10,250 citizens, and responding to nearly 1,400 calls for service last year.

The Lisbon Fire Department was created in 1982 to meet the specific fire and rescue needs of the people of Lisbon. The Lisbon Fire Department is committed to maintaining a state of readiness to meet the needs of the community. The Lisbon Fire Department is proud to be a leader among peer departments, meeting challenges with determination.
